Survey Stages
1. Planning and Preparation:
This phase involves forming the scientific committee, designing the sampling strategy, and developing implementation and quality management plans.
2. Fieldwork Preparation:
This phase focuses on ensuring the smooth execution of the survey through coordination with relevant authorities. This includes finalizing logistical arrangements, preparing Mobile Examination Centers (MECs), adapting and translating the survey questionnaire, and building an electronic data collection platform. This phase also involves developing training materials, training the field team, and conducting a pilot test to refine the process.
3. Data Collection:
This phase involves collecting data through personal interviews, medical examinations, and biometric measurements in the mobile units, as well as collecting biological samples and sending them to reference laboratories for analysis.
4. Data Processing and Reporting:
This phase includes data cleaning, statistical analysis, and the dissemination of results and reports that contribute to guiding health policies.
